Marcel gladly makes recommendations to his guests. We checked Café American and enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast buffet, but Herengracht Food Drinks & Art is highly recommended as well.

The ‘Balcony Room’ has the nicest view, but you can better ask for a room in the back of the house if you’re a light sleeper. Due to the narrow staircase the guestrooms are less suitable for the disabled. Shopping and sightseeing The location of Marcel's Creative Exchange’s is perfect: right in the centre of bustling Amsterdam, so most places of interest are within walking distance. The Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Modern Art Museum are less than 5 minutes away.
