General InformationStrategically located in Paradise Valley, we are surrounded by some of the best recreational areas in Montana. Here you can take a short walk to the free flowing Yellowstone River - known for its trophy trout; enjoy Yellowstone National Park - the oldest national park in the United States is just 36 miles south of us; hike or ride amazing high country trails - the majestic Absarokee and Gallatin Mountain Ranges encompass the valley; ski Bridger Bowl or Big Sky - providing Alpine and Nordic skiing for all abilities and preferences; satisfy your palate at exquisite area restaurants - everything from quaint cafes to fine dining; and, of course, relax in the pastoral beauty of Paradise Valley.

Our Log Cabin provides a great retreat for family and friends. The cabin's three bedrooms comfortably accommodate six adults. The cabin also includes a living room, two bathrooms, laundry facilities, outdoor grill, and a kitchen replete with modern appliances. The deck is a great place to have a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise over Dexter Peak. $175 (double occupancy) $20 per extra person per night.

Policies- Minimum stay required (two night minimum stay in Log Cabin---no mimimum stay in B&B)
- Smoking is allowed outside only (Outside only)
- We cannot accommodate guest pets (Will make suggestions for nearby kennels)
- Children are welcome (Welcome in the Log Cabin)
- No childcare is provided
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted
- Deposit amount required (B&B requires one night's deposit within 7 days of making reservation.
Log Cabin requires 50% deposit.)
- Check in time is 4:00 - 8:00 PM and Check out time is 11 AM
- Cancellations:
B&B--full refund (less processing fee) if cancellation received 4 weeks prior to arrival date.
Log Cabin--deposit is refundable (less processing fee) only if cabin is re-booked. - Accepted by the following agencies:

Johnstad's B&B and Log Cabin is located 36 miles north of Yellowstone National Park and 17 miles south of Livingston, MT. From the north entrance of Yellowstone Park at Mammoth/Gardiner take highway 89 north towards Livingston, MT.
From I-90 at Livingston take exit 333 south on highway 89, 17 mile to just before mile marker 36. We are on the Yellowstone River side of 89 at 03 Paradise Lane. - Nearest major airport: BZN 45 miles

Johnstad's B&B and Log Cabin is located 50 minutes from Gallatin Field in Bozeman, Montana. Proceed east on Interstate 90 to Livingston, Montana, and turn south on Highway 89 (toward Yellowstone National Park) for 17 miles and the B&B is on the left side of the highway.
We are 2 hours from the airport at Billings, MT. Take I-90 west to Livingston, MT then south on highway 89.

Ron & Mary Ellen Johnstad first moved to Montana in 1967. They both know Montana well and can introduce visitors to the excitement of Paradise Valley. Mary Ellen's breakfasts are superb...and Ron can show you how to tie a fly or work a flyrod. Their goal is to make each person special at their B&B...and they are! - The innkeepers speak: English
