General Information

WhistleWood Farm- a unique departure from the ordinary B&B. The farm is set on a hilltop in Rhinebeck, part of NY's historic hudson valley. We offer you a private retreat from the hustle of your everyday life, only two hours north of Manhattan.
Decks, pastoral views, wildflower gardens, a setting for solitude or lively conversations. Pull up a chair on the deck to enjoy the views. Explore the woodland trails, play tennis next door aat the Rhinebeck Tennis Club, golf at the near-by Red Hook Golf Club or just relax!
The Lodge-A fieldstone fireplace-a crackling fire, spacious rooms with antique furnishings, beamed ceilings, handmade colorful, quilts, orientals and Indian blankets. Acorn rockers sit on the sunny front porch, and decks with peaceful views welcome you. Maggie's eclectic tastes and collections help you feel at home. Come enjoy our warm hospitality in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

    CARRIAGE HOUSE - Peaceful country atmosphere, Two luxury suites, rustic decor enhanced with antiques. Common library, country kitchen Two separate bedrooms, both have stone fireplaces, whirlpool baths and private bluestone patios. Enjoy pastoral views of horses and pastures from your patio or the fireside. The kitchen is equiped with goodies for your convience. Reserve one room or take the whole house for the family or friends getaway. Totally air conditioned and heated, all room here have DVD/VCR and MP3 players.

  • Limited accommodations for guest pets (Advance Notice,Housebroken, $5.00 per night, kennel available)
  • Limitations on children staying (Quiet intimate atmosphere and privacy limit age of children)
  • No childcare is provided
  • Consumption of alcohol is permitted (Please, Bring Your Own)
  • Deposit amount required (Credit Card held as deposit for seven days, by then we must recieve a check for 50%.)
  • Check in time is 3 pm to 7 pm and Check out time is 11:30 am
  • Cancellations:
    An acceptance of your deposit is the confirmation of your reservation. A credit card # as temporary deposit for ten days, by then we must receive a check for 50%. Deposits, less $20.00 will be refunded only if cancellation is made 14 days in advance. Upon booking - Three rooms or more the cancellation fee is 20% and Non-Refundable

Go 1 mile to crossroads (Pells Rd.) and sign WhistleWood Farm turn left go to fifth driveway on the right, come up the hill and your at your home away from home.

    I've always been a bit of a tomboy and love nature, animals and people. Collecting country antiques, gardening, taking care of horses and dogs, keeps me quite busy here on the farm. Sharing my farm with my guests and meeting folks is always a pleasure especially when they share some of their experiences.
