General InformationTo the John Walters House Bed and Breakfast, a red brick 1888 Italianate Mansion. Step back 120 years into Colorado's past, and enjoy the Victorian era in our Denver, CO inn accommodations.
Today the John Walters Mansion has been restored to the way it was in the 1880's, and is currently a modest guest house with accommodations of four elegant bedrooms, two baths, and a small pantry. On the first floor there is a small salon, library and dining room. Houseguests are encouraged to explore the mansion and neighborhood, where they will find a small golf course, natural history museum, zoo and park with stocked lake. The John Walters House is within ten minutes of downtown Denver, Colorado and Cherry Creek Shopping Center. Gambling, skiing, and mountain enthusiasts will find shuttle transportation conveniently available. Denver has developed many new attractions in the central area to attract tourists and travelers. Some sports enthusiasts may never leave Denver to enjoy football, baseball, hockey, or basketball games. A new Elitches amusement park and world-class aquarium are just newly finished. Denver has something for everyone.

The John Walters House is large, historic, house/museum build in 1880s and restored over a 30 yr period. Filled with antigues, the main floor rooms, consist of salon, library and dining room. (The reception rooms on the first floor are available at additional cost, for large groups, however catering must be arraigned for in advance.) The 2nd floor has two large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and two additional bedrooms for extra sleeping space. Third floor apt, sleeps six, large living/dinning areas, queensize bed in bedroom, sleeper sofa in living area and sleeping loft sleeps two.

- Deposit amount required (Yes, 25% of stay.)
- Check in time is 13:00 to 18:00 and Check out time is 11:00

Going south from DIA on Pena Blvd, go West on I-70 to Colorado Blvd. Go south to 23rd Ave. and turn right on 23rd Ave going west. Once your through the city park, continue going west on 23rd to Gilpin Street and turn Left and park, you are right in front of the house.
