Relax in the comfortable atmosphere of this mid-19th century home on the Androscoggin River, in the historic village of Topsham, Maine, directly across the river from downtown Brunswick and just 30 minutes north of Portland. The Black Lantern features warm and gracious hospitality with period furnishings throughout; each of the three guest rooms has a private bath. Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the sunny dinning room or on the large front porch. Catch up on reading while relaxing in one of the many lawn chairs overlooking the river. You can only turn right and will immeadately cross the river and proceed up a small hill. Turn right at the first traffic light, Route 24 North / Elm Street. We are about 4 blocks down on the right.

    Follow the signs to I-95 North / Maine Turnpike (tollroad). Take I-95 north to Exit 52/ I-295 (about 4 miles).
