Memories of the rural village of Estaing, France, inspired this two-room suite. The bedroom's natural wood queen bed, dresser, shutters and stone fireplace bring memories of a quint French village. The sitting room with its wet bar, games, comfortable furnishings and fireplace make this a great place to spend a lazy afternoon. Both rooms open to a private balcony that offers a wonderful pine-framed view of the mountains and town. At night the twinkling town lights framed by pine shadows make this one of the most romantic spots found anywhere - a delight for the senses. The view from the E'staing Suite is through huge pines to the Blue Ridge Mountains and down on the small town of Waynesville.

Monticeto
Like its California village namesake, this room has casual and elegant charm. White shutters cover the large bay window opening to a mountain ridge view. There is a spanish influence in the iron four poster queen bed and pottery accessories in this 'almost round' shaped room. Because of its openness and hominess it has been a real guest favorite. A view of the lane and mountain ridge can be seen from this room with its three large windows along the side of the Inn.

Carolina
Dancing sunlight and happy colors of green and yellow make this room bright and cheery. The filigreed, burnished gold firescreen, white Battenburg bedding and small federalist antique desk hint of Carolina's southern elegance. The bath with its seashell appointments remind one of the coast of Carolina--from its shell-shaped lavatory to its shell patterned wallpaper. Looking from the queen bed throught the bay windows, it is possible to view a variety of Carolina foliage. On a quiet summer night, Plott Creek can be heard meandering from the mountain tops to the valley below. The bird feeders are located below the side windows of this room. Many birds and large trees and bird garden are viewable from the Carolina Room.

S'conset
The S'conset Suite is named for a village of tiny rose-covered cottages on the east shore of Nantucket. The suite has crisp white walls and fresh blue accents that remind one of a seaside cottage. Located on the first floor, this roomy suite has rich oak floors and a majestic dark cherry king four-poster bed made up with white Battenburg. At night the room glows from the light of the fire in the large Carolina fieldstone fireplace. In the large bathroom with wallpaper of the vining S'conset roses, a double vanity and whirpool for two are found. The view from the bay window behind the loveseat is of our lane and the mountain ridge.

The Carriage House
The Carriage House Suite is very luxurious and of English Country Design. Warmth and coziness prevail in this forest green-walled area trimmed with rich wood and brick. As you bathe in the whirlpool tub for two looking out to a view of pond and mountains, you'll be warmed by the glow of the peninsular fireplace. The private balcony is a perfect place to have breakfast in a beautiful, natural setting. The private entrance, high ceiling and king-sized bed make this the ideal setting for a special rendezvous. From the private balcony a view of the lily pond, forest, and mountains may be seen.

St. Paul de Vence
The St. Paul de Vence Suite is a very spacious, secluded suite overlooking the lily pond. It has its own terrace and private entrance. A French Provencal atmosphere is achieved with warm, sun-baked ceramic tile floors, lace window treatments, and green plantings. The wood-beamed ceiling and stucco walls are typical of cottages in the foothills of the French Southern Alps. Guests enjoy the king-size bed, wet bar with decorative tile, and two-sided fireplace. French doors open to a private terrace where one can look over the garden to the lily pond and out to the nearby mountains. The antique iron daybed accommodates an additional guest and encourages a quiet afternoon nap.

Windwardside
This room has a Caribbean flavor with a European flair. The beautiful four-poster wheat bed is of dark cherry and is draped in white voile from the very high ceiling. An antique fireplace is across from the bed. At the rear of the room, French doors lead to a private balcony overlooking the koi pond and wods. There is a private entrance to the room and a service bar with an additional sink and refrigerator.

Savannah
Located in the Pond House, this suite is decorated with southern Savannah charm, from it's palm leafed fan to the jetted tub surrounded by plants typically seen on white sandy beaches. There is a small living area just inside the door and another small sitting area in the main room. With it's king bed, private bath, gas log fireplace and small private deck over looking the upper pond, this is surely the place to have your much needed getaway! The exceptionally large glass-walled, custom-tiled shower is a morning delight.

The S'conset Suite is light and airy, located on the first floor of the Main House, is reminiscent of a summer day with its dark wood and white wicker furnishings. The focal point is the large stone fireplace surrounded by a comfortable sitting area with upholstered loveseat and chair.The Savannah Suite, located in the Pond House, is a king bedded suite with separate sitting room, fireplace, two person jetted-tub and private balcony looking out over ponds and gardens.
Carriage House is located on the first floor of the Main House, this luxurious suite of English Country design is a guest favorite! Original brick, rich wood, dark green walls, high ceilings and a penisular fireplace set the tone for romance. As you relax in the jetted-tub for two, reflect on the view from your window....tranquil pond, forest of trees and misty mountains in the distance. The large private balcony is a perfect place to have breakfast in a beautiful, natural setting. Wet bar with refrigerator, four-poster King bed and private bath with tub and shower. $265The St.Paul Suite is located in the Main House at garden level, this spacious and most secluded retreat affords views of the lower pond, towering trees and mountains from its private patio. Sun-baked ceramic tile floors, fireplace trimmed with decorative tiles, lace curtains and a low, wood-beamed ceiling give this suite a decidedly French cottage feel. The two-sided fireplace may be enjoyed from the jetted-tub and king bed on one side or from the comfortable sitting area on the other side. Wet bar with refrigerator, TV/DVD with cable, King bed and private bath with shower.

The Windward is attached to the Main House but has a private entry from the parking area.  Queen bed, gas log fireplace, wet bar with refrigerator, private bathroom and balcony.
The Montecito ~ This room has casual and elegant charm. The room is centered around an original oil painting by Kurt Polter and combines bright primary colors against white walls. White shutters cover the large bay windows opening to a mountain ridge view. There is a Spanish influence in the iron four poster queen bed and pottery accessories in this "almost round" shaped room.
