Thornewood Castle is a luxury B&B located just 10 miles south of Tacoma, Washington city center. Designed by Kelsey Cutter and built in 1909, Thornewood is now on the historical register. Eight luxury suites available, some including jacuzzi, fireplaces, views and bay windows. All suites include plush terry robes,chocolates, ensuite coffee service, television, vcr, cd players, queen or king bed and private baths. The common rooms are far from common with incredible wood work and beautiful fireplaces and plaster molded ceilings. At over 27,000 sq. ft. and sitting on over 4 acres of beautiful lawns, waterfront and historical sunken gardens (designed by Olmsetead), Thornewood is truly a treasure worth discovering.

  The Lyoness is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath that adjoins Thornewood Castle. Balcony with lake view, fireplace, full kitchen and living room. Beautifully decorated.Call Thornewood office to reserve for longer periods of time or this Suite may be booked on our web site for overnight lodging.

• Cancellations:
  Full refund, less a $50.00 per night cancellation fee, if canceled more than 7 days in advance. No refund for nights cancelled less than 7 days in advance. (But please also see reschedule policy above, you can reschedule without penalty up to 72 hrs in advance). No refunds for early checkouts. You can reschedule a reservation without fee or penalty if rescheduled more than 72 hours in advance of scheduled arrival.
