General Information

The Southern invitation to "stop and sit a spell" has been the guiding principle for the creation of the Garden Gate B&B. You can have breakfast or tea on the front porch or you can enjoy the pergola shaded patio with its bubbling fountain. But the ultimate invitation to "sit a spell" is beyond the garden gate where you enter a garden created and refined for the past 105 years.

All rooms have heart of pine floors, private baths, beadboard ceilings, hand carved fireplace mantels and early 1900's furnishings. A library is yours to browse and, coffee, tea, and a bottomless cookie jar are available to guests at all times. A full country breakfast will send you off to a day of relaxing or touring.

• Cancellations:
  A one-night deposit by check is required to confirm reservations. Deposit is fully refundable if cancellation is made 48 hours in advance. Special event and holiday weekends require a two-night deposit and refunds are available up to two weeks prior to the special event or holiday weekend reserved.
