General Information

Located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Wood Street in downtown Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. Built in 1907 by Antoine "Tony" Cyr for "Sam McGee" and his family. Tony was famous for rafting freight through the treacherous Miles Canyon Rapids during the Goldrush. The home is featured on the Whitehorse Heritage walking tour. Our convenient location, two blocks from Main Street, allows our guests the freedom of walking to all downtown amenities. We offer free fax, internet and e-mail services.     Next door to the "Cyr House", we have 2 suites available in the "McDonald House", built in the 50's The Deck suite has it's own entrance with an adjoining outside deck. It has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, private washroom, TV, full kitchen facilities - basically your own apartment.
    The McDonald suite is a bright self-contained apartment as well, with all amenities that the Deck suite has.
