General Information

Built in the 1890¿s, the Hoopes¿ House in Rockport, Texas has been meticulously restored to its original splendor. The sunny yellow inn commands a panoramic view of the harbor, and is within walking distance to museums, shops, and galleries. The main house consists of four charming guest rooms, each with a private bath. For those wanting a more private experience, perhaps a stay in one of the four "garden rooms." The grounds feature a pool, hot tub, and a gazebo. Elegant but casual, the Hoopes¿ House combines modern luxury with old world charm. Hardwood floors, 12 foot ceilings, intricately carved fireplaces, crown molding, fine art and antiques recall another time...another era. Relax with a good book in the parlor. Enjoy the Gulf breeze under the gazebo. Linger over morning coffee in the sunroom. Listen to the call of the gulls on the porch. Delight in the pleasures of a slower time.
