"Superb Mountain Setting, Delicious Atmoshere, Wonderful Food and Friendship". This charming 1780s' farmhouse with public yr-round stables is on 70 scenic acres of forest and pastures along the Saco River. This award-winning inn offers a blend of authentic New England charm and hospitality with luxury. Surrounded by horses, gardens and mountains this provides an amazing natural-retreat like setting and has only ten rooms- some with jacuzzi and fireplaces. Two-room family suites are also available. All rooms have private baths, king or queen beds, & A/C, free Wi-Fi. This is a supurb setting for an elopement and a carriage ride. The stables offers horseback riding year round, romantic Victorian carriage rides as well as group wagon rides spring snowfall(very nice in the fall) & winter sleigh rides.Inn guests enjoy special stables rates. Justice of the Peace available for elopements or small weddings. "Breakfast is a Feast!" on the patio w/ views of the mtns. gardens & horses. In the cooler months, enjoy a cozy fireside breakfast.   • Deposit amount required (A deposit in full is required for a one or two night stay to secure a reservation. For three or more nights, a 50% deposit is required.)
  • Check in time is 4:00- 8:30 PM and Check out time is 10:30 AM
  • Cancellations:
    Deposits are refundable in full, minus a $25 service charge per room, if the reservation is cancelled prior to two weeks of the arrival date. During Fall Foliage: Sept. 20- Oct. 25, cancellations must be made three weeks prior to the arrival date.

    Rick & Charlene are both nature lovers- Rick a soil scientist, & Charlene a lansdcape architect/artist. Rick's carrying on the tradition grew up in the hospitality business too. They enjoy the company of Lucy, their Weimaraner, and enjoy going horseback riding and taking their horse, Abby, out for a buggy ride on their property. They enjoy what nature has to offer on their property and in the area.
