The Romance and Relax Package: Step back in time and enjoy a weekend of romance at our 18th Century inn. This package includes a 3 night stay for two people in a super deluxe room with two-person jacuzzi whirlpool tub with fireplace with mountain views, room tax, a full patio/fireplace breakfast each morning, a complimentary carriage or sleigh ride for two (or substitute a horseback ride for two) on our scenic 70 acres. It also incudes a romantic dinner for two at one of the innkeeper preferred gourmet restaurants. (Does not include restaurant gratuity or cost of alcohol) $730. ($760-780 holidays and holiday weeks). Justice of the Peace: One of your hosts at the Farm By the River is Bed and Breakfast with stables is a Justice of the Peace and is available on-site for your convenience for an additional fee. We would be happy to help you with any other arrangements for your special day (e.g. photographer, florist, hair salon).

2008 Polar Express Packages: Package includes a two night stay, tax, TICKETS FOR EACH PERSON, full fireside breakfast. Reservations are being taken starting March 10, 2008 for the 1st 3 weeks of Dec. 2008 for the Polar Express.
Add a sleigh ride or pony ride to the season festivities-another great holiday season activity open to inn guests as well as the general public.
Polar Express Packages: One room accommodations for 2-3 people or two room family suites for 3-4 people or deluxe family suite for 4-5 people. Experience an "Currier and Ives" winter at the Farm by the River Bed and Breakfast located in the heart of the White Mountains.A romantic sleigh ride for two in the early evening is a wonderful way to begin your stay. Afterwards warm up by the fire with a cup of hot cider and freshly baked goodies. In the morning wake up to a fireside breakfast, then strike off on snowshoes, or X-C ski- right outside our door. We are two miles from to the village of North Conway for restaurants and shopping and also to several Downhill and X-C ski areas.The Farm by the River Bed and Breakfast is a place for all seasons. Summer-start your day with a delicious patio breakfast overlooking the gardens with pond; the resident horses frolicing in the pasture; and the mountains beyond. Later, swim or fly fish from the Saco River from our sandy beach; or go horseback riding. Autumn- experience a kaleioscope of crimson colors as you walk or perhaps take a horse-drawn wagon ride through the pasture and forest to our 11 acre maple sugar stands. A land grant from King George III of England, "The Farm by the River" has been in one family for seven generations-since 1771. Stroll the estate and you might see a moose, deer or fox, a variety of birds.  In the Fall guests enjoy 16 acres of mature Maple sugar forest on the estate via a Victorian carriage ride.The stables is open year round to inn guests and the general public also.The Captain's Room- A cozy corner room with views out to the north pasture and cathedral Ledge-famous for rock climbing. It has a queen with private bath and is decorated in a classic B and B look with hardwood floors, oriental and hook rugs. Very bright and cheery! The "Brides room". Enjoy this deluxe room with fireplace and king bed. It can either be used as a room with private bath for two or as part of a two-family room suite. The stables are also open all year round to the general public.
For a truely romantic experience-take your loved one on a horse-drawn Victorian carriage ride on our scenic 70 acres along the Saco river. This might be just the way you have been looking for to ask that special someone to marry you. Or perhaps a carraige ride might be part of your elopement plans. A Justice of the Peace is available on site to perfom the ceremony in our open fields surrounded by mountains. Or for a larger wedding, the father, bride, and brides maids arrive in the carriage to the ceremony, the marriage is performed, and the bride and groom leave in the carriage to tour the property and have a few minutes alone before returning to their guests and the reception.
