Our most historic room,the Rufus Porter Room, features a room-size mural by the intinerant artist, Rufus Porter, which was painted in 1825. An antique queen bed and gas fireplace provide additional atmosphereA frequent visitor to the Inn during the 1830's was Franklin Pierce, the only United States president who hails from New Hampshire. This guest room named after President Pierce, features a queen canopy bed and gas fireplace.
