Bacon Egg Puff
Total preparation time: 10 min.
Serves: 8Ingredients:
- 2 cans crescent roll dough
- 8 eggs
- 8 slices canadian bacon
- 2 teaspoons seasoned salt blend (your favorite)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded colby/jack cheese
Steps:
- Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Line the pan with the crescent roll dough, making sure to close all the perforations and press slightly up the sides of the pan.
- Break the eggs directly into the dough-lined pan, arranging them side-by-side, 2 across. Do not break the yolks or scramble the eggs! Each egg will be a serving of this dish.
- Sprinkle the eggs with the seasoned salt. Top each egg with one slice of Canadian bacon.
- Top the casserole with cheese, sprinkling it evenly over the entire surface. You'll find the cheese helps to center and hold the bacon slices.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and dough is browned on the edges. Cool 5 minutes, then slice down the center and between each egg placement. Serve hot. Delicious!
