Garlic Yams

Many years ago while feasting on Thanksgiving dinner, a
friend of ours introduced us to yams with garlic. While
neither of us were fans of yams, we found that the garlic
made them interesting. We then created this recipe to
make them wonderful.

Total preparation time:  30 min
Serves:  10

Ingredients:

  • 2 large Yams
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Crushed Garlic

Steps:

  1. Peel and cube yam. Boil in water until soft. In large mixing bowl, soften butter, add garlic, pepper, and mix. Add soft yam. Mix until well blended. May be done ahead and kept warm in the oven at 225, covered with foil.
