Acclaimed seaside inn listed on the National Register of Historic Places offers some of the finest accommodations on the Maine coast. Five comfortable rooms with ensuite private baths, tasteful period furnishings, and the sense of the past only a 200-year-old home can convey. Enjoy creative, multi-course breakfasts served on the 60-foot sunporch overlooking Penobscot Bay. Spend your day relaxing at the inn or venture out for sightseeing, antiquing, or sailing on one of America's most attractive waterways. Ideally located less than an hour's drive from Rockland, Camden, Blue Hill, Deer Isle, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

  All rooms air conditioned with ensuite private baths. Two ocean-view rooms have panoramic views of Penobscot Bay and skylights in the bathrooms. Three rooms have king beds, one has a queen bed, one has twin beds. All rooms have cable TV, mini-refrigerators, terry cloth robes, clock radios, hair dryers and a selection of toiletries

Policies

• Minimum stay required (Weekends - Fridays and Saturdays)
• Smoking is not allowed (Historic property designation)
• We cannot accommodate guest pets
• Accommodations are not suitable for children (Well supervised children over 14 - this an adult atmosphere)
• No childcare is provided
• Consumption of alcohol is permitted (we furnish set-ups, glasses & ice only)
• Deposit amount required (50% for multi-night stays, full deposit for single nights)
• Check in time is 3 -6 P.M. and Check out time is 11 A.M.
• Cancellations:
  All cancellations will be charged a service fee of $25. Cancellations made less than two weeks before the reserved dates will be charged the full amount of the reservation. Single night cancellations are non-refundable. These charges do not apply if we are able to rent the room for the period of the reservation. We do not refund for early departures. We are not able to offer refunds in the event of illness, emergency, inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
