General InformationThis picket-fenced Bed and Breakfast is on a half-acre lot that was originally surveyed in 1691 and is located in historic Yorktown, where George Washington's army won the last battle of the American Revolution.
Marl Inn is located a half block from the restored Village of Yorktown and two blocks from Yorktown's beach and Riverwalk along the York River. All rooms have private bath, TV and VCR with a movie library.
The ten miles of single-lane paved roads through the Park Service forests are exceptionally inviting to historians and tourists. The beautiful thirteen-mile Colonial Parkway linking Yorktown with Williamsburg and Jamestown is a particularly attractive route for bicyclists and touring families. While visiting tour the battlefields by bike, foot or car; ride the free Yorktown Trolley; picnic along the York River; watch a Fife & Drum parade; enjoy a cruise; visit the Yorktown Victory Monument; relax on the beach or go swimming; visit the National Park Service Visitor's Center and the Yorktown Victory Center; shop in quaint stores along Main Street; tour historic homes; visit the Watermen's Museum; walk, stroll or bike along many paths including Yorktown's beach.

From Interstate 64East or West. Take exit 242B near the Williamsburg area. Follow the exit onto Route 199. Go a short distance down route 199, and enter the Colonial Parkway towards Yorktown on your right. Follow the Parkway until it ends in the Battlefields. Turn left at the stop sign onto Ballard St. Go approx. 3 blocks until you see the Courthouse Building on the left. Turn Right there onto Church Street. The Marl Inn is 1/2 block down on the right hand side. - Nearest major airport: PHF 7 miles
- Directions from airport:
Exit the Airport onto Jefferson Avenue, turning right on Jefferson. A short ways down, turn right at the light onto Denbigh Blvd. Follow Denbigh for approx. 3 miles until it meets Route 17 at a light. Turn left on 17. Drive approx. 5 miles until you come to a light at Cook Rd.(there will be a 7-11 store on the left). Bear to the right on to Cook Rd. and follow to the end. Turn left on Ballard St. Approx. 3 blocks further, turn right on Church St. The Inn is 1/2 down Church St. on your left. - Meeting places:
