Washington Baked Pears

Serves: 6Ingredients:
- 6 Fresh Washington Pears
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/2 cup Pecans
- 1/2 cup Raisins
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- Whiiped Cream
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375
- Core each pear, leaving bottom intact. Cut a hairline cirle around the middle of each pear, just piercing the skin.
- In a small bowl, combine sugar, spices, nuts, and raisins.
- Fill pears with mixture and dot with butter. Arrange pears upright in a small baking dish. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, until pears are tender. Cool for 15 minutes.
- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream
