General InformationThis turn of the century home offers the opportunity to slip away from the hectic daily routine into a comfortable and friendly small town atmosphere. History buffs are within 20 minutes of the only remaining Original Pony Express Station & Barn, Oregon Trail and Oregon Trail Auto Route. Also there is Alcove Spring, Historic Marysville Courthouse and Koester House Museum. The home is furnished in a tastefull blend of antiques and modern furnishings. The many windows allow sunlight to fill the living and parlor areas, which are open to all guests. A full country breakfast is provided each morning and evening snacks include ice cream treats or brownies. Barnes is a very friendly small town of 180 residents.
