this is truly an amazing place. my daughter is 13 and this is out very first retreat. we arrived here and there could not be a more perfect environment. we love the beautiful, remote house, the food is amazing and Greta is and angel!

The stay at Backyard Garden Oasis is always peaceful, serene and relaxing. Greta is a fabulous host! If you're so inclined, head up the road to enjoy a little gambling at Twin Pines Casino. We usually leave a little richer! Enjoy!!

Beautiful, secluded spot not too far from Calistoga and Napa valley. Rooms are warm, cozy and comfortable. Breakfasts are home cooked, made-to-order and filling. Innkeeper is very genuine and personable. Would highly recommend and return for a visit read more

We were impressed with the graciousness of our host. The room is fairly basic, but it is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and served at a convenient time. We would likely stay here again.

Tucked away between Napa and Clearlake (hence the name Middletown) this is truly a get away. Beautiful setting, quiet and massages by request.

This little oasis is worth the 12 mile drive from Calistoga. The cottages are clean, simple and cozy. The grounds are quiet and peaceful. A great fine. read more

It is often challenging for us to find a b&b that is knowledgable and considerate to accomodate our super-healthy diet. The food was straight out of her garden. The room was well appointed - Greta went the extra mile, and that matters!

Our King Sized Beds are very comfortable and provide a view of the stars through the skylight. The glass door opens onto the parklike setting of the Oasis. Prepare your eyes and soul for a constant feast.
Special care is given for your Special Occasion. Please read some of our Guests' Reviews. They say it better than I ever could!St Helena Creek flows pristinely at the back edge of the Oasis. There are birds and other wildlife in the area and living at the Oasis. You can enjoy the serenity and the wildlife show even from your private deck.
Overlooking the herb and vegetable garden, you can see the main house peeking through the Mimosa Trees. Harvests from the garden often find their way to the breakfast table in the dining room.Welcome to the Throne Room! The bathrooms are large and modern. One of the cottages is wheelchair accessible, with a shower big enough for a party. Simplicity and comfort.
Each cottage has its own private deck where you can chat, watch the hummingbirds and simply relax!Sitting on the bench around the oak tree in the Meditation Circle in the backyard is a favorite of guests.
