General InformationThe Candlelight Bed & Breakfast is a beautifully restored 1850s farm house. Located in the heart of the Green Mountains. Rooms are decorated with art, period furniture, antiques and reproductions. Guests enjoy spacious bedrooms featuring private baths and romantic fireplaces with morning aromas of homemade muffins and a delicious country breakfast. We are near the Appalachian trail and the VAST ski mobile trail system. We are four miles from Lake Whitingham and fifteen miles from the Mount Snow ski and golf course, a true four seasons resort area.

Innkeepers- Innkeeper(s): Peter and Fran Madden
Both Peter & Fran are retired school teachers. Now besides being owners and operators of the Candlelight they ski canoe and hike. Peter enjoys running as well and uses the workshop for painting and furniture making. Fran enjoys photography and volunteers at the local school in her spair time. Peter serves on the local ambulance as a volunteer EMT. - The innkeepers speak: English
