General InformationWe are less that an hour from the hustle and bustle of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. You can experience true Texas hospitality in a magnificent Queen Ann style mansion. Scenic and cultural attractions abound in this North Texas hill country. The Brazos River, nearby lakes and parks offer great recreational opportunities. An historic and architecturally intriguing downtown area is an easy walk and has unique attractions and shopping. Built in 1904 as a boarding house on beautifully landscaped grounds, guests are invited to enjoy the warm environs of the library, parlor, formal dining room or wrap-around verandahs...or enjoy private moments in a swing under hugh oak trees... Spacious guest rooms are on the second floor with private bath, cent. heat and air. Numerous amenities include quality toiletries, extra pillows and oversized thirsty towels. A hospitality area, that is just steps away, contains an icemaker, snacks and a stocked refrigerator. Freshly ground and brewed coffee awaits the early bird here each morning.
