The innkeepers of the James Gettys Hotel invite you to stay in one of the last remaining historic hotels in Gettysburg. Restored in 1996, the James Gettys Hotel is the perfect home away from home atmosphere. A blend between a European style boutique hotel combined with the special amenities of a bed and breakfast make this the perfect place to unpack and enjoy your stay. Our rooms include a sitting room, bedroom and private bath. The rooms also feature a kitchenette for morning coffee, afternoon snack or romantic wine dinner.

Special touches in our guests' rooms include complimentary fresh ground coffees and imported British teas, fine toilet soaps, fresh cut seasonal flowers, wireless internet service and plus Egyptian cotton towels to name a few.

The homebaked continental breakfast basket served to your suite includes fresh baked muffins, coffeecakes and tea breads paired with seasonal fruit. Each evening enjoy our signature dark chocolates or a huge fresh baked cookie as part of our turndown service.
