General Information

Minutes from Lexington, yet in another world, with only woods, hillside pastures filled with llamas, and mountain views greeting the eyes.The drive from Rte. 11 to Applewood is only 1 1/2 m. but on that drive you will wind along the scenic Buffalo Creek, enter Donald's Hollow, pass a horse farm, then enter the inn's lower meadow which follows a babbling brook. The passive solar construction provides huge enclosed porches from which to observe this piece of heaven. Most rooms have gas log fireplaces and either hot-tub or jacuzzi tub. Lavish full breakfast. Special diets accommodated. Llama trekking available on site.

  • Check in time is 4 PM - 10 PM and Check out time is 11 AM
  • Cancellations:
    3 weeks notice for refund, less $25 cancellation fee. After 3 weeks, deposit refunded if room is rebooked.

    Chris is former electrician, sign painter. Linda is watercolorist & gardener. Both sing and were innkeepers for 18 yrs in Massachusetts. They moved to Virginia so that they could offer year-round llama trekking from the Inn. They love the abundant wildlife and wildflowers that surround them in their new home.
