General InformationMinutes from Lexington, yet in another world, with only woods, hillside pastures filled with llamas, and mountain views greeting the eyes.The drive from Rte. 11 to Applewood is only 1 1/2 m. but on that drive you will wind along the scenic Buffalo Creek, enter Donald's Hollow, pass a horse farm, then enter the inn's lower meadow which follows a babbling brook. The passive solar construction provides huge enclosed porches from which to observe this piece of heaven. Most rooms have gas log fireplaces and either hot-tub or jacuzzi tub. Lavish full breakfast. Special diets accommodated. Llama trekking available on site.

Innkeepers- Innkeeper(s): Linda & Chris Best
Chris is former electrician, sign painter. Linda is watercolorist & gardener. Both sing and were innkeepers for 18 yrs in Massachusetts. They moved to Virginia so that they could offer year-round llama trekking from the Inn. They love the abundant wildlife and wildflowers that surround them in their new home. - The innkeepers speak: English, German
