General Information

This completely restored, century old Queen Anne, Victorian mansion, with wraparound porches, second and third floor watch towers and magnificent views of Seneca Lake, features hand-crafted woodwork, a spacious entry and an elaborate oak staircase leading to five large, airy bedrooms, each with modern private baths. Beautiful in all seasons Watkins Glen offers a wide range of major attractions including the Watkins Glen auto races, area wineries, golf courses and Watkins Glen State Park. The focal point of intimate gatherings and warm weather family reunions, our lighted gazebo overlooking beautiful gardens provides an excellent spot to catch lake breezes in a serene setting. Relax in the comfortable guest living room off the entry, complete with fireplace, TV, VCR and piano. In the adjacent dining room, with stained glass windows, you'll enjoy our gourmet breakfasts at a large table overlooking bird feeder and gardens. George was in marketing at American Express and AT&T and Julie was a freelance editor. George and Julie spent 5 years in the Navy, living in locations from Kittery, Maine to Jacksonville, Florida. They have always enjoyed staying in B&Bs and chose the Finger Lakes because they enjoy wine and wine making, skiing, skating, and just spending time outdoors.
