Robin's Nest Bed and Breakfast Inn

Robin's Nest consists of two wonderful historical houses contiguous to each other in the heart of Houston's Montrose - Museum District. The second is a 1930s bungalow. Pivate porch, private entrance, personal fridge, and more. Check in time is After 1 p.m. and Check out time is 11:00 AM.

Cecelia's Room is soft yet strong with red English toile in a cream background. The floors are a now rare Longlead Pine. The walls are MacArthur Park Green. The bathroom carries through with a red silk check. Cecelia's Room is on the second floor. It faces east so you get wonderful morning sun; however, the English toile drapes are substantial so you can close out the light if you wish. There are five windows in the bedroom and three in the bathroom. A queen size bed with featherbed plus a twin or day bed should you need it. The room can sleep three comfortably.

Antonio's Room is a strikingly beautiful bedroom with queen-size bed, plush feather bed, and private bath. The fabrics are rich, warm and bold, for the avant garde Victorian in all of us! Check in time is After 1 p.m. and Check out time is 11:00 AM.

Aunt Mae's Room is an artist's space with a warm color wash on the walls and green shutters over the five windows in this bedroom. Aunt Mae's Room has a queen-size bed, wrapped in rich colors and appealing textures. There's also a custom alcove twin or day bed which provides a separate bed for double occupancy or a third person. The private bath is just outside your door, and no one else uses it except you. You can relax in the deep, claw footed Victorian tub or enjoy our Victorian "shower contraption". Ruth Ann's Room is the only room downstairs which renders it somewhat isolated. Because it's the only guest room downstairs your space de facto extends to the sun room, the parlor and the dining room. If you are a light or late sleeper another room may be better, however, as we serve breakfast from 7 - 9 a.m. If it doesn't bother you, it doesn't bother us. The queen size bed has a featherbed atop. The bathroom is a nice size, with tub and shower inclusive, a muraled shade tree and a giraffe to keep you company. Check in time is After 1 p.m. and Check out time is 11:00 AM.

Bold, warm colors bathe this room. If you're planning to pop the question or close a business deal, this is the room that will give your adrenalin an extra drop or two. It's private because it's detached from the main house. It's in the second house (c.1930) of Robin's Nest called "The little Nest", toward the back of the property. A queen bed with featherbed, original art, French pedestal table Robin brought back from Paris for an intimate chat, or, if you must, work. A whirlpool for two . . . or just you. Check in time is After 1 p.m. and Check out time is 11:00 AM.

Four-room suite consists of kitchen, bedroom, sunroom/second bedroom, bath, and porch off the kitchen. Nice grounds. Very private, very nice.

Beverly's Tree House is an approximate 600 sq. ft. apartment inside the triplex with its private garage granting ingress and egress inside the apartment: very convenient on a rainy day. It's very private space: honeymoon, weekend getaway or a long-term, extended stay for corporate business. And of course, it's perfect for a vacation. We are in Houston's Museum and Arts District with ample restaurants within walking distance, bars, museums, art galleries, theater, public transport, etc.

It's a two-bedroom apartment*, one bath, living, dining and kitchen, about 1300 sq. ft. The bedrooms are: a queen in the Master/Mistress bedroom, and twin beds in the second bedroom. The apartment includes an in house washer and dryer as well as a complete kitchen. It has an attached, remote-controlled garage. It's a very private space: honeymoon, weekend getaway or a long-term, extended stay for corporate business.
