The Mission Inn with its sweeping verandas is one block from the Atlantic Ocean. Inspired by Nelson Z. Graves' journey to the Pacific coast at the turn of the century, The Mission Inn is a perfect example of California Mission style. Its stained glass windows, Flemish Gable and latticed veranda contribute to the warm feeling of this al fresco house. The Mission Inn offers you the grandeur of the Gatsby Era. For many years the Inn has been a mecca for Hollywood film start and Broadway show people. Enjoy the same ambiance as Ty Power, Erroll Flynn, Diana Barrymore, Gloria Swanson, and Robert Preston. When you stay an the Mission Inn, you feel that California state of mind. Her guests are colorful! If the walls could speak they would murmur a century of secrets.
