General InformationWalking into the "Log House", you're greeted by the spaciousness of a great hotel, the warmth of a rustic mountain lodge, and the friendly charm of a country inn. Once, inside, you're drawn to the front windows and a magnificent lake and mountain view, or to the huge stone hearth and the welcome cheer of an ever burning fire. The stone fireplace is ringed with rocking chairs and couches. Some guests have been known to spend their entire stay right there, curled up with their favorite novel. Summer guests enjoy pristine 13th lake for swimming, and canoeing (no motors); miles of hiking and mt bike trails; nearby attractions, and whitewater rafting. Winter guests enjoy ski-in ski-out accommodations on one of the East’s largest groomed cross-country ski trail networks. Neighboring Gore Mt. provides world class downhill skiing and snowboarding. In this day of fast paced work and hurried vacations, Garnet Hill Lodge and the Adirondack Mountains remain a welcome vacation destination.
