General Information

The Carter House Inns is an enclave of 4 magnificent Victorians perched alongside Humboldt Bay at the gateway to Eureka's historic district. The Carter House Inns and Restaurant 301(1998-2008 Wine Spectator's Grand Awards) have been welcoming travelers since 1981. Each Inn is distinctively designed and graciously appointed. Guest rooms feature antiques, private baths and luxuriant amenities soothe the soul and delight the senses. Marble fireplace, whirlpools with marine vistas, immense 4-poster beds and generous honor bars hint at the myriad. Dinner at Restaurant 301 is truly a celebration of the senses. Our gardens provide herbs and fresh vegetables for the chefs.
