Golden Dreams B&B's Delightful Blueberry Custard

This recipe was discovered through our own B&B travels on Lopez Island, WA. It now gets the best reviews and has become a tradition at our B&B too! The soft, warm texture of the custard is something gentle for the awaking tummy and tongue.

Ingredients:

• 6 Eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon Salt
• 1 cup Fresh or frozen blueberries
• 1/4 cup Honey
• 2 cups Milk
• 1 teaspoon Vanilla
• 2/3 cup Flour
• powdered sugar
• hot jam or maple syrup
• 3 tablespoons butter

Steps:

1. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a large baking dish or 9 X 13 pan.
2. Blend all ingredients, expect blueberries, in blender.
3. Pour into preheated baking dish of melted butter and sprinkle with blueberries.
4. Bake at 425F for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden.
5. Drizzle with hot jam or maple syrup. Sprinkle with nutmeg and powdered sugar.
