General Information

Built in 1896 as a lumberjack boardinghouse and saloon, the historic Bright Morning Inn is your gateway to exploring West Virginia's fabulous Potomac Highlands. Located in the tiny town of Davis, West Virginia's highest incorporated community, the Inn is only nine miles from Canaan Valley ski resorts and less than one mile from Blackwater Falls state park.

The Inn has been completely renovated to accommodate 25 guests in 7 bedrooms and one family suite. Simple and uncluttered, our bedrooms are furnished with country antiques, rustic pine floors, colorful rugs and handmade quilts.

During the day our guests hike, bike, golf, climb, ski, fish, hunt and cruise our fabulous and unspoiled country roads. At night they relax in a comfortable common room and explore several excellent restaurants within walking distance.
