General Information

Homeplace has more windows than walls and is full of European antiques and Vermont craftwork. It is surrounded by perennial gardens and woods with many trails. There are friendly house and barn animals. A full breakfast is served.

The large living room is where guests can relax with a book near the fireplace, work on a jigsaw puzzle in the corner near the piano, or play chess near the windows overlooking the large terrace.

    Take I-89 to Exit 11 at Richmond, VT. Drive to Route West; then right onto Route 117 to Skunk Hollow Road. Drive 2-1/2 miles to a three-way stop, bear left and stay left for 1/2 mile. At the three-way stop in Jericho, turn left and then bear right uphill. Pass between the two churches, and after the yellow "Children Crossing" sign, but before the school and the post office, turn left onto Old Pump Road. Drive out for a mile, crossing into Essex, and turn right opposite the Huessy mailboxes onto our 1/2-mile driveway. Don't turn right at the fork; keep left for Homeplace.
