General Information

York Street House provides exceptional In-Town accommodations in an historical setting. The gracious 13 room Manor house was built in this quaint river village in 1909. In 1911, the home was featured in House & Garden Magazine; in 1983, as a designer showcase, and in 1987 was seen in Country Living. The public areas include an entrance hall leading to the heart of the inn-a winding three-story staircase with leaded glass windows leading to six guest rooms. The living room is comfortably furnished with over stuffed seating and antiques. An assortment of parlor games,puzzles and books are provided for your entertainment. Lighting your way is a stunning Waterford Crystal chandelier original to the house. Our library has an oak mantle in the Arts and Crafts style and antique mission furniture complement the architectural details. Breakfast is served in our diningroom with a Mercer Tile fireplace with a large cherry mantle and antique pendulum clock. In addition to a candlelit kosher breakfast, hot and cold beverages and homemade cookies are ready 24 hours a day. Each guest room is individually decorated with a mix of antiques and antique style furnishings. Bath amenities include luxury soaps,lotions,and vanity items. All rooms have cable TV, electric fireplaces, two available with a two person Jacuzzi. Freshly ironed linens nestled beneath down duvets await your arrival. In warmer weather, relax in one of our porch rockers and enjoy the bird sounds from one of our many feeders. Take in the garden with its roses and lavender. Off street parking behind the house.

• Cancellations:
  All weekend/holiday bookings require a minimum of 50% of one night deposit. Cancellation policy is 14 days in advance of stay for full refund minus $20 service charge. Cancellations less than 14 days refunded minus $20.00 service charge if room can be re-rented. No refund for cancellations less than 72 hours prior to 6pm on date of arrival.
