The rooms (all private bath), are located in the Main House, Saltbox Cottage, and Watertower. Furnished with Early American and Shaker antiques. Each room has well-lighted, comfortably arranged sitting areas, and some have ocean views, others fireplaces. A full gourmet breakfast is served. Off street parking. Walk everywhere.     A newly built, two bedroom, two full bath luxury home with gourmet kitchen, fireplace and satellite TV. Nestled in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, bordered by a small creek the Grindle Guest House is surrounded by decks and gardens and offers a beautiful blue water ocean view. The house is located just minutes north of the picturesque village of Mendocino and is a short walk from the magnificent Russian Gulch State Park. Not far to the north, historic Point Cabrillo Light Station provides another great walk and, in season, the best whale-watching.

    From San Francisco take Highway 101 just past Cloverdale to the Mendocino/Highway 128 West exit. Travel west on Highway 128 to Highway 1 and go north ten miles to Mendocino. After crossing the bridge into Mendocino, take the second left at the stop light onto Little Lake Road. We are the first large white Victorian home on the hillside to your right. Travel time from San Francisco is approximately 3 1/2 hours, unless you choose to enjoy coastal Highway 1 all the way, which takes approximately 5 hours.
