General Information

The Bentley Inn is an 1886 Victorian Mansion located in the historic & picturesque seaside town of Bay Head (just 60 miles from NYC & Philadelphia), New Jersey. Many call it the “Hamptons of the Jersey Shore. We are just 3 houses from the ocean and feature 19 guest rooms with TV/VCR, A/C, full-serve breakfast with 5 entrees, private off-street parking, complete beach gear, bicycles, wrap-around covered porch, free wireless internet access, large living room, dining room and sunlit solarium. Slip back to another time and relax on the 1st and 2nd floor covered porches with ocean & bay breezes. We can accommodate special events (up to 45 people), small weddings, business meetings, family reunions, etc. Later check-in available if arrangements are made in advance with innkeepers.

The timeless beauty of this small country village by the sea is both elegant and casual, creating a mystique that has endured for generations. Since the late 1800's, Bay Head has been the favorite vacation place for those who enjoy a certain kind of quiet, a relaxing yet friendly way of life, and a safe haven in which to pursue both land and sea activities. The general enjoyment of the natural, uncrowded lifeguarded beaches make Bay Head a favorite for those who like a quiet time. The people who return year after year to Bay Head take great pleasure in some less publicized everyday activities - collecting shells and sea glass on the beach, bicycling on quiet village streets and, perhaps best of all, seeing a variety of birds in our wildlife preserve.

• Deposit amount required (1 nights stay or 50% of the reservation, whichever is greater)
• Check in time is 2-7pm and Check out time is 11am
• Cancellations:
  Your deposit is refundable if innkeepers receive notice 14 days prior to arrival date. This will be minus a $25 processing fee per room. After this 14 day period no refunds are possible unless we can re-book your rooms. We also cannot make refunds for early departure; however, with prior notice you are welcome to send someone in your place.
