My boyfriend and I went to New Orleans for his 22nd birthday. The innkeeper, Kelly, was simply fantastic. She went out of her way to make us feel at home and comfortable and she's fun to talk to. The room was clean, and we had an amazing time. I'm never going to stay in another hotel in new orleans, I loved the blue room and that's where I plan to stay every time i go. Thank you so much!!!

RBGH is a GREAT place to stay in the French Quarter! This was our first visit, but definitely not our last to Royal Barracks. Upon arrival, Kelly was the nicest, most gracious hostess and made our experience that much more enjoyable. She recommended restaurants, things to do, offered us refreshments, and we really enjoyed her presence!! Hospitality was A+++. The room was whimsical & unique.. just the thing I like in a stay. All of the the rooms were beautifully decorated and different themes... my girlfriend & I stayed in the bunk room & had a fantastic experience, maybe the best I've ever had!! Located in the upper end of the quarter, RBGH enjoyed all of the convenience of the French Quarter nightlife, but was sufficiently quiet at night! Located in the residential area, the locals were all very friendly and approachable, the neighbors were great and the area was very desirable for a stay in New Orleans. If you like fun, unique hotel/B&B experiences, come to Royal Barracks Guest House. If you have ANY idea how to have a good time, this place is for you. Next time I am in New Orleans, this is where I will stay. Thank you Kelly & everyone at the RBGH. Until next time, Wesley & Kristin

Stayed here for 5 nights on our first trip ever to New Orleans. It is near enough to be able to walk to everything you will need to see, eat, shop, drink and have a good time. Kelly is the host and will help you with anything you need. Very friendly and informative especially if you have never been here before. The peacock room was the room we stayed in and was perfect. Comfortable bed, private bathroom,mini-fridge,microwave,coffee pot.....etc. We had a great time and will definitely be back and stay here again as well.

I recently came to New Orleans for the 4th of July weekend. I started planning my trip in May and found out that all major chain hotels were full. I happened to come across the Royal Barrick's on this website and called the number at 10:00pm. Les answered the phone and I explained my situation and was afarid that I would be staying close to the airport because that is all I could find. Luckily Les had a room available and was able to help me over the phone. We checked in on July 2nd. Les was so friendly and made us feel right at home. We stayed in the Peacock room and the room looks better in person than online. The house has a great vintage feel. Hardwood floors and antique decor. Outside of the room, it opens up into a quant courtyard with a hot tub. This was a great place to relax at night after the bar scene. This B&B is so close to Bourbon st and all the fun. Such a charming place with the best Innkeeper, Les that I have met. I will be back to the Royal Barricks!!!

Great FQ location & very quiet...makes you feel like a local. Rooms, beds & baths are a bit dated, but clean. Short on amenities, but several top restaurants are just a short walk away. Les is a great guy.
