Shaker Cream Biscuits: Bread

Servings: 6

Prep time:20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Bread Flour

  • 3 teaspoons Baking Powder

  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream

  • 2 tablespoons Sugar if desired

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees and grease cookie sheet. Whip cream until stiff.

Step 2:

Sift flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder together. Mix lightly with a fork by adding whipped cream.

Step 3:

Turn onto a lightly floured board and knead for one minute. Pat dough to a 1/2 inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.

Step 4:

Bake on a greased cookie sheet in a 450 degree for 12 minutes. Serve with butter.
