General InformationThe Chatelaine delights the heart of Vagabond and Pilgrim. Built in 1841, with large rooms and spacious grounds, the views include mountains, meadows, and 200 year old village. On the Purple Heart Highway(SR45) caverns, museums, fests and nature's sites abound. PSU is mere minutes away. Private baths, Oversized beds, luxuriously comfortable Guests' Sitting Room, High Speed Wireless Internet. Hot and Cold Beverages at any time. We are a Smoke Free Environment with our Feline companions barred from your guest rooms.

The 3rd floor suite can be booked for 4-6 guests with 1 bath and 3 lavatories. During the regular season one of the two rooms can be booked with the private use of the bath and in-room lavatory.

Croissants stuffed with cream cheese and fruit of the season, immersed in batter of egg yolks, vanilla yogurt and whipped egg whites. Topped with nuts, baked and served with Carolina orange sauce and warmed local (Blue Moon Farm) maple syrup. Magic seasoning is Angostura.
Policies- Minimum stay required (2 nights - special events dates)
- Smoking is not allowed
- We cannot accommodate guest pets
- Limitations on children staying (Children must be 12 years or older.)
- No childcare is provided
- Deposit amount required (Full amount for stays of one to three nights or 50% of an extended stay)
- Closed: We do not serve breakfast on Christmas
- Check in time is After 3:00 pm and Check out time is By 11:00 am
- Cancellations:
Deposits credited if cancellation received more than 14 days ahead for regular season, 28 days ahead for high season events including PSU Football games, Commencements and wedding festivities. On the right coming from State College, once travelers pass the intersection of SR 26 South (going over Pine Grove Mountain) and SR 45 West, travelers will see 1) Ferguson Township Elementary School, 2) St. Paul Lutheran Church and 3) The Chatelaine. Parking in front only, please, as sign directs. - Nearest major airport: PIT 132 miles
