Nestled in the village of Woodbury, CT in the heart of Litchfield Hills, Longwood Country Inn is 1¾ hours from New York City, 45 minutes from Hartford. Settled in 1673, Woodbury—called "the finest unspoiled Colonial town in America" by The New York Times—is a destination for antiques collectors and history lovers. The Inn offers 6 tastefully appointed guest chambers and luxury suites with private baths, fine linens, cable television, wi-fi, telephone and air conditioning. Some feature gas-log fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and French telephone showers. Intimate fine dining at our own on-site restaurant featuring creative New England Country cuisine and European-style table service. Relax, unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the Litchfield Hills and its attractions: art & antiques shopping, cooking classes, bicycle tours, hiking, fly-fishing, theater and music festivals, historic house museums, and much more. And there are no lines at the movie theatres!

  Our grand luxury suite is a very large room, with gas fireplace and sitting area. Bath has 2 person whirlpool, and French telephone shower. The bed is a Mahogany King Size 4 poster canopied bed with reproduction Colonial bed hangings.
  All rooms have private bath, some have shower only, some gave whirlpools. All rooms and suites have TV, radio, telephone. All have a beautiful mix of antiques and reproductions, described by National Geographic Traveler as "stunningly beautiful."

• Deposit amount required (Reservations require a 50% deposit, which is charged at the time a reservation is made.)
• Check in time is 4:00 - 6:00 PM and Check out time is 11:00 PM
• Cancellations:
  To receive a refund, (less $25 processing fee) cancellations must be made 14 days prior to the date of arrival. If cancellation occurs inside of the required 14-day period prior to your arrival, no deposit will be refunded unless the entire reserved stay is rebooked by another party. Late arrivals and/or early departures will be responsible for the entire reserved stay unless we are able to rebook the room. This policy applies to advance credit card deposits, early departures, and cancellations.
