Seven Sisters Celebration 120 YEARS!
The Seven Sisters Inn (Historic Scott House) turns 120 years old. In August 1888 the Scott House was finally complete. The enchanting Queen Anne Victorian Home located at 820 SE Fort King Street was built by G.S. Scott and was his home for many years. Mr. Scott was owner of a local insurance angency and also the Secretary/Treasurer of Ocala Building & Loan Association. This magestic structure features an extensive veranda with Doric columns, a second story porch above the entrance, and turret tower with bay windows. Little did Mr. Scott know that years later it would be converted to the present day Seven Sisters Inn which received the "Best Restoration Award" from the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation. To celebrate this 120 year milestone we are offering the room of your choice in our Historic Scott House for $120 per night during the month of August ... Sunday through Thursday only.
