General InformationSense the romance¿ Enter into your dream of waterfront, mountains, towering evergreens, exquisite gardens, nurturing serenity. Then walk into your room through your own private entrance and feel the total ambiance of Domaine Madeleine. The fireplaces, jacuzzis for two and king/queens size beds set the tone for personal pampering and intimacy along with designer robes, little French perfumes and TV/VCR/CD. The main house is decorated in French/Asian antiques and works of art decorate the walls. The living room features a 15¿ basalt fireplace with vaulted ceiling as the floor-to-ceiling windows capture the living pictures of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Victoria, Mount Baker, and San Juan Islands. And as you gaze at that same view, you will be served the most delicious and beautifully presented 5-course breakfast. After breakfast, go hiking, biking, antiquing -- or pamper yourself with an in-room Swedish massage -- or simply curl up with a good book, waiting for whales and eagles to appear.
