General Information

Relax in the peaceful seclusion of forested acres along the Wild & Scenic Chetco River, one of the cleanest rivers in the U.S. This modern inn is near the seacoast town of Brookings. It uses alternative energy. Environment is natural, comfortable, and casual. Meals draw upon the Pacific NW bounty and are delicious and large. Views from each room of river or gardens. Large common room with fireplace and upper library.

    From Brookings on Highway 101 go East onto the North Bank Road of the Chetco River. Set Obdometer, you will be traveling approx. 17 1/2 miles up river for 1/2 hour. Count four bridges that you go over. The last one is the South Fork of the Chetco River. Go over it, turn left and at 3/10 of a mile, turn left onto the driveway of the inn. You will see our sign there. Most of the time you will be able to see the river to the right or to the left of the road. Your cell phone will not work pass Loeb Park.

  • Directions from airport:
    Medford to Grants Pass. Grants Pass, take 199 then 197 to Highway 101. Turn right toward Brookings. See directions above.
