General Information

Sorensen's Resort is a historic all-season resort located in majestic Hope Valley of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. A small cluster of modest cabins along the West Fork of the Carson River has something for everyone: from fly fishing, to bird watching, llama hikes, to landscape watercolor classes, and skiing. Accommodations include three B&B cabins and 31 housekeeping cabins ranging in style, age, and size.

  • Deposit amount required (A credit card number is required at time of reservation. A deposit is then required either by personal check, to be received within 7 days of making your reservation, or payment by credit card.)
  • Check in time is 4:00 PM and Check out time is 11:00 AM
  • Cancellations:
    We will be happy to refund your deposit, less a $35 service charge, per cabin booked, if we are notified prior to 2 weeks in advance on any cancellation or change in reservation; 30 day notification required on all holidays, special events and group reservations. Shorter notice will result in the cabin rate being charged for the entire visit, if not fully re-rented.
