Black Bean Soup

Total preparation time:  2 Hours
Serves:  20

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 lb Black Beans
  • 1 gallon Water
  • 2 Med Yellow Onions (Coarsely Chopped)
  • 1/4 Bunch Celery (Coarsely Chopped)
  • 1/2 lb Bacon
  • 8 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Beef Base
  • 1/2 cup Whole Garlic (Peeled)
  • 1/2 tablespoons Black Pepper (Table Ground)
  • 1/4 tablespoon White Pepper
  • 1/4 tablespoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 tablespoon All Spice

Steps:

  1. COOK THE BLACK BEANS IN 1 GALLON OF WATER FOR 1 HOUR.
  2. ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS AND COOK FOR ONE MORE HOUR.
  3. POUR INTO BLENDER AND BLEND UNTIL DESIRED CONSISTENCY IS REACHED.
  4. GARNISH WITH DAB OF SOUR CREAM.
