A consistent reader favorite, The Old Monterey Inn is a half-timbered Tudor-style residence built in 1929, by the towns first mayor. Converted to an inn, 30 years ago, this landmark property rests on 1 acre of lush gardens. The inn is decorated with stained glass windows and skylights, period furniture, and family antiques; guests stay cozy with European goose-down comforters, featherbeds and fireplaces.
