The Sandpiper Inn's early California architecture is complemented by colorful seasonal gardens.     We stayed two nights at Sandpiper Inn. It is a beautiful inn within walking distance to the beach. We had a nice view of the beach from our window (room #7) and it was nice being able to hear the ocean at night with the windows open. Breakfast was nice in the beautiful parlor. Fresh quiche, croissants, scones, etc. We would stay here again!

    The place is fantastic... most bang for your buck. The caretakers are very nice and attentive. I even got a 25 dollar gift certificate for helping a fellow vacationer get up the stairs. My wife and I loved the fact that you can stroll right down to the beach. It was close to everything, Monterey, Big Sur, .... Thanks Sandpiper Inn for a wonderful anniversary experience

    We hav stayed at the Sandpiper Inn several times and each time is a delight. The location is perfect and the service outstanding. A special retreat setting in wonderful Carmel.

    The staff were so kind and helpful that neighborly is the best description. The scale of the building is like a home and the rooms feel like a family beach house. But the inn was built to be an Inn and the flow and placement of the rooms serves well. Bay views and muffled sounds of the sea in many rooms. Food great. We will return for the walk on the beach 1 mile south of Pebble Beach. Close to shops, restaurants and Point Lobos.
