The Sweet PeaThis is indeed a tiny room, with just enough room for a double bed and dresser. While a very sweet little room, it is really ideal only for the solo traveler on a budget or a couple who would rather dedicate travel funds to other expenses than lodging. Remember, we do have lovely common rooms and gardens to lounge in.

The Morning GloryThis spacious room is aptly named for the morning sun that comes streaming in through lace curtains and stained glass. The iron/brass king bed faces the simply carved wooden fireplace surround - how lovely to go to sleep with the burning embers glowing in your fireplace! A focal point of this room is the exquisite antique armoire.

The IvyThis third floor suite has angled ceilings in both the bedroom and adjacent sitting room. The iron/brass queen bed is made up with the most comfortable 100% cotton sheets, down comforter and feather pillows, conducive to lingering in bed just a few minutes longer each morning. It is said that the sitting room is sometimes inhabited by ghosts, and many a guest has come down to breakfast with a story to tell. While the staff has yet to see anything for ourselves, we invite you to sleep up there and see if you too have a visitation.

The VioletThis Queen-Anne style garden cottage has its own private entrance and is particularly quiet and peaceful. Soft yellow walls, a massive fireplace and inviting day bed set in bay windows make this a particularly inviting room. Guests love that they can enjoy the more modern proportions and ammenities of this room while still enjoying the historic ambiance of the main inn. The wooden four-poster bed has a princess-and-the-pea feel about it because of the extra thick mattress and lush down comforter.

The ForsythiaGuests relish the quiet of this Queen Anne style garden cottage, set back in the garden with its own private entrance. You may want to spend the entire day lounging in the day bed, gazing out the bay windows at the garden or entranced by a dancing fire in the nearby fireplace. Ah, but Santa Fe's galleries, shops and museums call. At least you know that at the end of the day you can fall into the luxuriously appointed four poster bed, it's cotton sheets, down comforter and feather pillows assuring a peaceful slumber.
