This newly constructed exposed-adobe home is built in the traditional style of the mountain regions of New Mexico. It is perched on a cliff overlooking the confluence of the San Juan and La Plata rivers and its windows and patios take in the long view of the sunset down the valley. The nearby water, bluffs and gallery cottonwood forests provide an oasis for a wide variety of birds, plants and animals - places for quiet walks and relaxing conversations .

    David is an avid walker whereas Diana prefers cycling and swimming. In the winter of 2009 Diana rode the Southern Tier across the US while David drove the SAG vehicle. David's talent with maps and geography saved the day many days. Hence, David is skilled at giving guests information about which rotues to take for their particular interests. Diana also began racing in triathlons in 2006 and swims in the Masters, all, to keep fit. To rest both read; "so many books so little time".
