General Information

The Hale House Inn has much to offer…from delicious refreshments upon your arrival to its six beautifully furnished guestrooms each with its own private bath. A Texas Gentleman's Breakfast is served each morning of your stay, either in the formal dining room or more casually on the north side porch and gazebo. Your day can then be spent sightseeing in this intriguing town with its many antique shops and historic homes or relaxing with your favorite book in one of our two common areas. You can even watch your favorite sporting event on our big screen TV or enjoy your favorite movie on the flat screen LCD in your room. Most weekends you can find several activities in or around Jefferson…from carriage tours to festivals and city-wide events. Mysterious Caddo Lake, the largest natural lake in Texas is just a short drive from the Inn.

• Limited accommodations for guest pets (We will assist you in finding boarding for your pets)
• Limitations on children staying (Children 12 and over are invited to accompany their parents)
• No childcare is provided
• Consumption of alcohol is permitted
• Deposit amount required (Reservations require one night or 50% deposit, whichever is larger to hold your room until arrival. The balance is due at that time.)
• Check in time is 4:00PM and Check out time is 11:00 AM
• Cancellations:
  At The Hale House Inn, you never pay for something you do not receive. None of us ever intends to cancel, but sometimes we find ourselves in that situation. If you must cancel, and do so 8 or more days prior to your stay, and we are able to rebook your room, your deposit less the $30 service fee will be returned to you. Cancellations within 7 days of your scheduled arrival are charged full rate to your credit card ... but you will be issued a gift certificate that is transferable and lasts for a full year. All cancellations must be made in person or by phone. Voice mail and emailed cancellations will not be honored.
