General InformationThe 1881 Cresent Cottage Inn is located in Eureka Springs in the heart of the Ozarks in northwest Arkansas. It is a landmark Queen Anne Victorian listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The home was built for General Powell Clayton, the first post-Civil War governor of Arkansas and instigator of the development of Eureka Springs as the premier mid-western resort area of the Victorian era. Located just a few minutes' stroll from the historic downtown area with its many shops, galleries, and fine restaurants, Crescent Cottage Inn offers unparalled history, elegance, and hospitality.
